    The Hawai‘i Section of the American Water Works Association and the Hawai‘i Water Environment Association are holding the fourth annual joint conference at the Hawai‘i Convention Center from February 14 – 16, 2017. Registration, hotel information, and other details will be posted on the conference web site by mid-September 2016.

    The deadline for regular registration is Friday, January 22, 2016, which is only 18 days away. Register soon to receive the discounted price on the conference.

    Community service event: February 6, 2016

    The Pacific Water Conference Community Service Project is happening Saturday, February 6 from 9am-12pm at Maunalua Bay in Hawaii Kai.  We’ll be restoring the bay by clearing invasive algae.  Lunch and a shirt will be provided to all volunteers… friends and family of conference attendees are welcome!

    More details will be sent out to those interested.  Please email Alyssa “Sunshine” Smith at no later than Friday, January 8, 2016 with the number of volunteers and shirt size(s) (these will be men’s dry-fit long-sleeve shirts).
