- The deadline for comments [for the Sand Island waiver] has been extended until March 31, 2008. The HWEA Executive Board encourages its members to offer their input.

- EPA Region IX has issued a tentative decision for each of the City and
County of Honolulu's 301(h) waiver applications for the Honouliuli WWTP
and the Sand Island WWTP. Both of these decisions may have significant
impacts to HWEA members and citizens on Oahu. We encourage our members
