HWEA will be the organization of dedicated and knowledgeable professionals
recognized for preserving and enhancing the water environment in the Pacific Island Region.

The Waikīkī Aquarium celebrated its 118th birthday on Saturday, March 19, and HWEA was there to help shell-ebrate!   The aquarium outfitted us with an o-fish-all event bucket, tongs and refreshments and sent us on our way.  Our small group was able to gather safely to help collect litter along Kapiolani Park and the magestic Waikīkī coastline.  The event saved over 100 pounds of trash from potentially getting into the ocean.  Hope to Sea you at the next event!

HWEA is excited to announce the creation of its own YouTube Channel.  Recorded HWEA presentations will be available to watch after the session.  Check back frequently for new updates.
