The intent of this competition is to promote the wastewater industry within our state by showing compelling, artistic imagery of the facilities, operators, equipment and other wastewater infrastructure throughout our state. - The tour of the Synagro Facility at the Sand Island Wastewater Treatment Plant on Wednesday, September 16th, 2009 was a success. We had 31 people attend to listen to Kenny Huy and Darren Benson of Synagro; they gave out bags of their product after the tour. Attached is a photo of most of the group with their “door prizes”.
