Collection Systems Conference

HWEA would like to invite you to its 8th Biennial Collection System Conference on Friday, December 4, 2015, at the Ala Moana Hotel. Speakers from around the state as well as from the mainland will share their “collective” collection system knowledge and experiences.

This year’s conference will cover a wide range of interesting topics addressing management, operation, design, and construction of wastewater collection system facilities. The dual track sessions includes timely and thought-provoking sewer and manhole presentations, as well as many informative presentations on pump stations and force mains.

We have added two pre-conference field trips which will occur in the days preceding the main conference (first week of December 2015).  The first event is a live demonstration of the Electro Scan sewer main leak detection process, and the second event is a tour of the Kaneohe/Kailua Sewer Tunnel access shafts for the tunnel currently under construction.

There will also be an exhibit area and Pau Hana get-together to further promote networking and exchange of information among industry professionals. Educational credits will be available for attending the conference.
