The HWEA Conference is turning 30!! We are so very pleased to announce that "Collaborating to Sustain Hawaii's Water Environment" is the theme for this year's Hawaii Water Environment Association's (HWEA) 30th Annual Conference. We welcome your participation for this annual even at the beautiful Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. We are very excited to provide an invaluable forum for the exchange of information and ideas among our industry leaders and concerned citizens throughout Hawaii and the Pacific Basin.

Two (2) concurrent pre-conference workshops will he held on Tuesday, February 19th, 2008. The conference (Wednesday, February 20 & Thursday, February 21, 2008) will showcase a vast array of current water and wastewater issues. There will be ample time to visit the companies exhibiting their latest and high tech products and services. In addition, operators statewide will showcase skills in the Operator's Challenge for the right to represent Hawaii at the National competition held in conjuction with the annual Water Environment Federation (WEFTEC) Conference.

Social events include our popular President's Reception that will be held on Wednesday evening, February 20th, 2008 at our favorite watering hole, the Waikiki Yacht Club. Thursday evening, February 21st, 2008, we will celebrate the closing of yet anothersuccessful conference at our annual banquet at the Hawaii Convention Center, which will start soon after the last conference session. In addition to the opportunity to build camaraderie amongst all the participants, many great door prizes will be awarded throughout the conference.
